7 (70 purple air)

In British Columbia, soccer is considered a high-exposure sport, and the AQHI is used to assess air quality and potential health impacts. The guidelines recommend that for strenuous activities like soccer, anything above an AQHI of 7 (70 purple air) should be rescheduled. An AQHI of 10+ (100 purple air) is considered "Very High" health risk, and all outdoor activities, whether strenuous or not, should be rescheduled. Elite athletes are in the "at-risk" population due to the intensity and duration of their exposure to outdoor air quality.
